Cruise ship arrivals down for 2018

THE Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ) in its latest survey report for 2018 has revealed that there was a reduction in both the number of ships and cruise passengers that came to the island last year.According to the report the number of ships declined by 55, down from 606 and as a result total cruise passenger arrivals fell to approximately 1.0 million from 1.8 million—accounting for a decrease of four per cent.
