Strategic Digital Leadership: Embracing New Technologies Requires A Change of Mindset

 I will begin my reflections on Strategic Digital Leadership by recalling my approach to the issue in my former life as chief executive officer (CEO) of Dehring, Bunting and Golding. I was CEO, but I also appointed myself Chief Technology Officer although I knew next to nothing about technology. I did this to bring the weight of the CEO’s office to the urgency of going digital in the financial sector as it was vital both to our firm and to the broader sector. That was almost 20 years ago.
